Convenient Access to a Free NHS Consultation
The NHS Pharmacy First service offers a quick and convenient way to manage selected minor health conditions without needing to see a GP. Our pharmacists can assess and treat a range of common conditions, including sinusitis, sore throat, earache, infected insect bites, impetigo, shingles, and uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women.
Our trained pharmacists will assess your symptoms and provide appropriate advice and treatment where suitable. This may include self-care guidance, over-the-counter medicines, or NHS-supplied treatment if clinically appropriate.
Consultations under the NHS Pharmacy First service are free of charge. If NHS treatment is supplied and you are not exempt from prescription charges, the standard NHS prescription charge (currently £9.90 per item) will apply. It is your responsibility to declare any exemption correctly. NHS penalty charges may apply if incorrect information is provided.
If you are eligible for our delivery service, we can arrange for your medicines to be delivered to your home. Delivery timescales depend on prescription processing and service availability.
